Cibus Food Saving

At the end of Cibus, Banco Alimentare recovers the products that the exhibiting companies choose to donate, saving them from waste and distributing them to affiliated charitable organizations in Emilia-Romagna, which help people in difficulty.

This initiative has a positive social, environmental and economic impact.

During the last edition of Cibus Connecting Italy, 7 tons of food were recovered, which corresponds to approximately 14,000 thousand meals.
