PRIVACY STATEMENT TO BUYERS

INFORMATION ON PROCESSING OF VISITORS’ PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CURRENT REGULATIONS
(“PRIVACY STATEMENT TO BUYERS”)

1. The data controller
FIERE DI PARMA S.p.A., Via delle Esposizioni 393 – 43126 Parma – VAT No. 00162790349, hereinafter also “Controller”, provides to the “Data subject”, information on the purposes and methods of processing personal data (“Data”) concerning him or her in accordance with the requirements of current regulations.

2. Data protection Officer
The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted for any information and request via email to privacy@fiereparma.it

3. Data categories
In order to proceed with the correct registration we will need the following data: personal data, contact data, business reference data of the company, identification data (ID/passport) and, for organizational reasons, where possible, a copy of the same is required.

4. Purposes
The Data supplied by the Data subject, including through the completion of special forms, is mandatory and is used for the fulfilment of the following purposes:

I.  registration of entry and management of access authorisation; data is necessary for the contractual purposes.

II.  obligations regarding participation in the show, provision of associated services and fulfilment of administrative, book keeping and tax related requirements (legal obligation)

III.  legitimate interest for security reasons

IV.  following your request, acquisition of preliminary information for visitors/exhibitors business matching activities with exhibitors who will manage to follow your data as Data Controllers

V.  for the improvement of our services, possible customer satisfaction about the services provided directly and/or indirectly by the Data Controller
The processing of the purposes related to the above points are necessary to offer the services described and are not subject to consent.

VI.  unless otherwise stated, the email address provided at the time of registration could be used to send future communications and promotions, concerning the same type of services or courses organized by the Controller (Soft Spam).
The methods of provision of the service referred to in the paragraph follows the rules of the so-called “soft-spam” on the basis of art. 130 of Legislative Decree 196/2003. The interested party may at any time request the revocation of these newsletters using the email contact above and/ or through the appropriate unsubscribe tools.

VII.  Marketing purposes (sending commercial/promotional communications/invitations to events or exhibitions) for products/services of companies owned by the controller, partners and third parties, market surveys and statistical analysis. The provision of the aforementioned services may be made by independent owners for whom the controller cannot be held responsible. The communication of personal and contact data to any new partners, or companies, may be revoked at any time by writing to the email address above.
The processing of the purposes referred to in point vii is subject to consent by the interested party and, if provided, may be revoked at any time by writing to the email address above

5. Method
Data processing will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and minimisation of data; it will be carried out by internal or external staff who have been specifically authorised through contract clauses and appropriately trained. The Data Controller will put in place technical and organizational measures appropriate to the level of risk.

6. Communication to categories of recipients
The Data will be communicated to:
service partners needed for participation in the exhibition (for example, travel agencies, car service, airline companies, for additional services connected with a possible stay). In some cases, the data may be processed in the future by the recipients themselves as independent Data Controllers.
Operators in charge of the fulfilment of normal administrative/book keeping functions and for the security of the event; to marketing companies specifically authorized and trained by the Data Controller for customer satisfaction activities regarding the event.
Specific service companies identified by the Data Controller, partners, exhibitors, organisers, operators involved in the exhibition on the basis of interests shown during the event for their independent processing, for which the Data Controller cannot be responsible. Following your request, some data will be transferred to exhibitors for business matching activities.

7.Storage period
Data concerning the Data Subject will be stored for a period of 10 years, in case of non use of the data, or until the Data Subject’s refusal: this can be expressed at any time, as further explained in the section on “rights of the data subject”.

8. Data transfer outside the EU
Personal data of the data subject will not be transferred to third countries extra EU. In case of future transfer of data to non-European countries or international organisations, all the provisions of Chapter V (EU Regulation 2016/679) will be respected in order to ensure an adequate level of protection.

9.Rights of the data subject
The data subject has the right to request the Data Controller for access to personal data, as well as the right to rectification, deletion, limitation of data processing or to object to their processing.
The data subject also has the right to request a full specification of his/her rights and its practice by writing to privacy@fiereparma.it or write to the address of the Data Controller, detailing the request and the address to which you want to receive the reply.

10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you believe that processing of data concerning you violates your dignity, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Supervisory Authority.

11. Photos Videos
We are hereby informing you that by accessing the exhibition grounds, you accept the possibility of being accidentally filmed by audiovisual equipment belonging to various subjects. Considering the characteristics of this type of event, we cannot guarantee exclusion from such activities. FIERE DI PARMA S.p.A too may produce short films featuring the various shows, sometimes for reporting purposes, and it may occur that identifiable subjects are accidentally filmed. Any photos or videos taken by the Data Controller will always be checked before publication to ensure that the possible impact on the visitor’s personal data is as limited as possible.
